PamPac's Semi Automatic Cartoning Machine VP-120 Functional Description : The Vertopac 120 is a continuous vertical cartoner and is a most versatile cartoning machine. Ideal for smaller batches and a wide range of carton sizes. When using this cartoning system the product is loaded into the automatically erected carton by  hand and the cartoner closes the flaps. Hand loading is
always more economical when cartoning irregular shaped or non-rigid products which would require a
high degree of technical complication otherwise.
The cartons stand upright in a magazine and are fed into the machine under constant pressure applied by transport chains. The cartons are picked out of the magazine by an oscillating suction cup arm, opened and placed in between the carrying fingers of the carton transport chain. The base of the carton is closed simultaneously. The carton chain transports the top open cartons to the loading stretch of 2m (optional 4m) where the product is loaded manually into the carton. Leaflet inserters can be supplied. The leaflet would be inserted automatically into the carton before the product is inserted. At the end of the filling stretch the cartons are closed automatically and forwarded to the discharge belt.
